Judicial Review

Our Judicial Review team have a track record of holding public authorities to account. We specialise in challenging decisions made by state bodies/ public authorities and have taken cases against Executive Ministers, Government Departments, Local Councils, and Government Agencies.

We regularly appear before the High Court and Court of Appeal in Belfast and are presently instructed in proceedings before the Supreme Court in London and have ongoing proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. We are instructed in cases challenging discrimination by the State, unlawful detention, unlawful use of powers by investigators, the right to education, and embraced equality issues, victims rights, the right to privacy, the right to liberty and security, the right to a fair trial, prisoners rights and the right to private and family life.
